Annual Gala auctioned off two training packages at ACADEMI’s flagship training facility
McLean, VA - ACADEMI, an elite security services provider to both government and commercial clients, was proud to support the National Guard Youth Foundation’s Annual Gala by donating two ACADEMI Training Experiences. Two enthusiastic bidders paid $13,500 each for a total donation to the Foundation of $27,000.
The National Guard Youth Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. This unique initiative gives America's youth a chance to re-orient their lives by providing training, life skills, education, and mentorship. “ACADEMI is proud to support organizations such as the National Guard Youth Foundation as they seek to support America’s youth and further our national security,” said Craig Nixon, CEO of ACADEMI.
"For many of the young men and women we work with, going to college or trade school would be out of the question without significant financial support," said Louis A. Cabrera, President of the National Guard Youth Foundation. "Donations from companies like ACADEMI create scholarship funds for graduates of the ChalleNGe program and allow these young men and women to continue their pathway to success. We are very grateful for ACADEMI's continued support for the National Guard Youth Foundation and ChalleNGe graduates."
The ACADEMI Training Experience is an opportunity for up to six people to visit ACADEMI’s flagship facility in Moyock, North Carolina and receive elite training from highly-skilled instructors, many of whom are veterans of U.S. Special Operations Forces and U.S. law enforcement agencies. Utilizing ACADEMI’s 7,000-acre tactical training center, participants experience expert instruction in high-performance driving, firearms and a simulated tactical mission.
